Untitled

Ani Asatryan’s debut self-published work, Untitled, is a unique collection of short stories and essays, released in 2014 in a truly singular form.

 

Every copy is distinct. Crafted with care, each book is a delicate collectible. The artist’s vision makes it more than just a mass-produced item.

 

For three months, Ani and her friends meticulously deleted every line and word from each copy with a black marker. This process was documented and presented at the book launch.

 

Though the entire print run sold out on release day as an art piece, a short story from Untitled was later published in Words Without Borders in 2015. It was also featured in the Reader’s Guide for the BA in English and Communication at the American University of Armenia (AUA).
